Will yeast infection mcineide (metronidazole cream) treat bacterial vaginosis?I am going to try fem-dophilus to treat my BV or what I think is bacterial vaginosis. It itches a little but mostly stings a llittle and has a horrible odor. Gave birth 4 weeks ago. Is this common in women who have recently given birth due to hormonal changes and everything that the vagina has gone through also I had mastitis so I took antibiotics for it and I think it may have caused this.
